In my mind, a photograph is an instant, a divine contradiction, an outward picture of an inner condition. It can either be a key used to lock perception- falsely naming what seems real, comfortably known. Or it can be The Key used to break perception- leading to an awareness of Something Else that Is Real but temporarily unremembered.
Observing which key I choose reveals what Purpose I am giving the world: a classroom to forget, or to remember, what is Real and beyond the forms I see.
